Action Icons can be added, edited, and deleted whenever you first activate a Maxogram through the Add Maxogram page or through the Maxograms page after it has been activated.

Icon Formats

The Directions Action Icon requires a specially formatted Google Maps URL. To find this URL:

1. Navigate to the Google Maps website and look up the location you want to link to.
2. Click the menu button then select the Share or Embed Map option.
3. Under the send link tab, copy the link. This is the URL you will use for your Action Icon.

The Facebook Action Icon requires both your Facebook username and your Facebook ID. Facebook usernames are readily visible on public Facebook pages or in your settings for personal Facebook pages. For finding your Facebook ID, there are two methods:

Online Tool

You can use the find my Facebook ID online tool.

Page Source

1. Navigate to the Facebook page you'd like to find the ID for.
2. Right click (or control click for Mac users) on an empty part of the page.
3. Select View Page Source. This will display the source code of the web page.
4. Once you're looking at the page source, you will search the page by hitting ⌘+F (Mac) or Ctrl+F (Windows) and typing in pageid in the search box that pops up.
5. You should see the page ID within the first few search matches which looks something like "pageID":"563713007166562". The page ID is the long number which in this case would be 563713007166562.

The Google Play Music Action Icon requires a specially formatted Google Play Music URL. To find this URL:

1. Navigate to the artist or song you'd like to link to on the Google Play Store on your Android mobile device.
2. Tap the share icon and either select an option to copy the link to your clipboard, paste it to a note, email it to yourself, etc. This is the link you will paste into the Action Icon's input.

The Skype Action Icon requires your Skype username. Skype has recently changed the way their accounts are set up so there are now two methods for logging into an account. Which method your account uses will determine how you find your Skype username.

You login to Skype using your Skype username.

Enter this username into your Skype Action Icon.

You login using an email or phone number (Microsoft Account).

1. Login to Skype on your desktop.
2. Once you're logged in right click (or control click for Mac users) on an empty part of the page.
3. Select View Page Source. This will display the source code of the web page.
4. Once you're looking at the page source, you will search the page by hitting ⌘+F (Mac) or Ctrl+F (Windows) and typing in username in the search box that pops up.
5. In the search matches you will eventually see a line which looks something like "username: live:d10b0ae192a569af" (displaying your specific username, not this one). In this example the username would be live:d10b0ae192a569af and this is what you enter as your username for the Skype Action Icon. It should be noted that your Skype username will not necessarily look like a random string of numbers/letters as in this sample.

The vCard icon requires a text-based representation of a .vcf file. This can be created using Maxogram's handy vCard Generator.
